This mission trip will be a challenging, stretching, and safe experience! We will have the opportunity to grow in our faith as we serve various ministries in the Myrtle Beach area. One of the strengths of LeaderTreks is their commitment to develop and call up student leaders. Students will have the opportunity to lead, problem solve, and serve meaningfully on the front lines.Â
Another strength of LeaderTreks is that we will be the only church group they are working with that week. They hosted over 30 mission trips in summer of 2020 without one issue with COVID-19. Space is limited to 27 participants so click on the sign up link above and register today!

TRIP DETAILSÂ
We will leave Friday, July 29 at 5:00 PM from the CLC parking lot and drive toward Atlanta. We will stop for the night at a hotel Friday night. Saturday, we will get up and finish the drive to Atlanta and spend the day at Six Flags. After Six Flags, we will drive toward Myrtle Beach and stay the night at a hotel. Sunday, we will attend a church and stop by the beach before meeting up with our LeaderTreks team in the afternoon. Monday through Friday, we will serve in a project / adventure each morning and afternoon. Finally, Saturday morning, we will depart at 8:00 AM for the trip home. We plan to stop around half way to stay Saturday night. Then Sunday morning, we will finish the trip and be back at the CLC parking lot around 4:00 PM.
LeaderTreks will take care of all the meals Sunday afternoon – Saturday morning (except Friday night where we go out to eat). Students will be responsible for a few meals on the trip to Myrtle Beach and a few meals on the way back to El Dorado.
We will be staying at a church near Myrtle Beach, but do not have the details at this time.Â
What to bring
• 1 set of “church clothes.” Comfy clothing / active wear and shoes for the projects.
• Pajamas that are modest.
• Shower towels and toiletries (toothpaste, toothbrush, deodorant, etc).
• Money for 8 meals.
• Pillow, sleeping bag, air mattress or cot.
